Watch me observe is designed to cover the basic knowledge and an Introduction to lifeguarding with the safety of others in the pool environment. Observe is where the swimmer shows a good knowledge of poolside and water safety, the ability to spot dangers on a poolside, ability to spot the signs of someone who needs help and who and how to get to get help.
There are many bodies of water and all can be dangerous, we advise that the swimmer is aware of the dangers that can be associated with these eg, the sea, rivers, quarries, lakes, back garden swimming pools and even the bath.
