Description

The swimming enviroment for many children can be a very daunting one. A large space with lots of new sounds and sensations can be very unnerving. This award is designed to celebrate when children are more relaxed in the swimming pool and able to listen, focus and follow instructions correctly from a teacher. This for many is a big mile stone as by relaxing and listening enables the children to gain confidence in themselves and helps build a good relationship between swimmer and teacher.
