Description
To achieve 200m, we would recommend that the swimmer maintains a horizonal body position, with controlled, full, over the water arm recovery with hand entry in line with the shoulder. The leg kick needs to be continual and controlled whilst breathing continually to the side, this should not impact upon the rhythm of the stroke.
The stroke needs to be maintained over the distance with the swimmer breathing to both sides confidently and demonstrating a high elbow recovery with a bend in their arm.
All our certificates have a designated place where the stroke or strokes performed can be recorded, enabling this to be awarded multiple times for different or a combination of strokes.
