Lesson ideas
Dolphin kick can be a very exhausting kick to maintain and therefore lesson plans for this should be kept short in time and distance.
The head should instigate the start of the movement and then subsequently move throughout the body with a good hip downward force, right through to the toes
It may be easier for the swimmers to achieve this at first whilst swimming underwater and arms by their side opposed to being in streamline.
Phrases that mimic the movement of this kick and ones that swimmers of a younger age can relate to are, lets kick like a dolphin, a wiggly worm or riding the waves.
Colours displayed may differ slightly from the actual product due to various factors like screen display, lighting, or the way different people perceive colours.
