Description
To achieve 1,500m, we would recommend a mixture of strokes with no less than 3 different strokes and that the minimum swam on one stroke being 100m. The distance must be completed in one with no stopping for rests at any time.
If front crawl is selected then we would expect tumble turns to be completed by the swimmer. In addition, we would highlight the importance of pace for distance swimmers so therefore a steady standard pace should be followed throughout.
All our certificates have a designated place where the stroke or strokes performed can be recorded, enabling this to be awarded multiple times for different or a combination of strokes if required
